Bobby Mooch

Bobby

I got my first electric guitar when I was seven, and started jammin’ with other kids when I was nine. I plowed through and revisited love affairs with electronics, computers, recording, all things audio, and live performance ever since.

My enthusiasm for performing music has been explored and tested on every level, and never have I felt more like myself than I do right now. It sounds funny, but I suppose it means I have the drive and conviction of my teenage self and am finally surrounded by people with whom to grow and be healthy.

At our performances I am completely there on purpose and wish only for literally everyone to have a great time. I’m an unlikely front man, and for me that’s a great thing.

Dave

Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by my Bio page. Well, where do I start? I guess I have been a fixture on the Western New York music scene for almost sixteen years. I have had the pleasure to play and record with some of Western New York’s top acts such as McCarthyizm (inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 2009), JunKulture, Hit-n-Run, Burn, Dreamland, solo artists Geno McManus and Michael Hund, and jazz legend Al Tinney.

While with McCarthyizm I traveled throughout the United States and Canada, playing concerts in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, New York City, Boston, Los Angeles and Toronto. I have shared the stage with bands like the 10,000 Maniacs, Eddie Money, Gin Blossoms, The Smithereens, along with Canadian favorites like Crash Test Dummies, Jason Plumb, Spirit of the West, Hawksley Workman, Wide Mouth Mason, The Headstones, and The Lowest of the Low.

I am constantly trying to improve my craft and my bass tone for that matter! When I have some free time from gigging and recording you can often find me immersing myself in music history/theory books. While often called upon as a ‘rock’ player, I have a secret passion to play Motown, blues, and jazz. But don’t tell the other guys, that will be our little secret…

I have been playing with both Joe and Dave Dzialak for about 10 years. I am brand new to the Bobby Mejak world and thus far it has been an absolute pleasure working with him. That’s about it for now. I look forward to seeing all of you out at the shows!

Cheers!
Dave

Joe

I’ve been playing guitar as long as I can remember, and playing out in bars for almost 30 years. Some of my earliest bands were Prophecy and Jynx, while in the late 80s thru the early 90s I was in the Buffalo Music Award winning band White Lies and at that time I won the award for Best Hard Rock Guitar in the Buffalo Music Awards two years in a row. Most recently, I was awarded the Best Hard Rock Guitarist in the Nightlife Buffalo Music Awards for 2014.

Originally I started only on guitar, but while jamming with The Jukes I started singing lead. Later, I founded, played guitar, and sang lead vocals in the original band Burn in the mid 90s. After that, I became the lead singer/guitarist in the trio Dreamland, then went on to form Eve’s Apple, and Last Revolution. I also ran the Tuesday night open mic at Brennan’s Bowery Pub in Williamsville, NY for three and a half years.

In addition to performing in SuperCharger, where I play lead guitar, and add sonic textures and lots of harmony vocals, I also work on various projects in my home studio with other bands and projects both locally and nationally.

Dave

Dave Dzialak has been a gigging and session drummer in the Buffalo, NY area for over twenty years. He has recorded and performed with some of Buffalo’s biggest rock acts, including Buffalo Music Hall Of Fame members ‘White Lies’, multiple Buffalo Music Award winners ‘Kingpin’, ‘Tribal Reign’ and many others.

Dave’s heavy, aggressive style of rock drumming has rewarded him many studio hours recording for radio, television, and numerous bands as well as garnering him some Buffalo Music Awards of his own. Dave was the youngest ever to win ‘Top Hard Rock Drummer’ in 1989, and won again in 2005. He recently completed a four-continent tour with ‘Jeff Scott Soto’ (of ‘Yngwie Malmsteen’, ‘Talisman’) and currently can be seen in Buffalo with ‘SuperCharger’, as well as ‘Dead Or Alive’ and other projects on occasion. The summer of 2009 sees Dave as the touring drummer for ‘ALCATRAZZ featuring GRAHAM BONNET’, the spawning ground for Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai, among others.

Check out Dave’s personal Facebook and MySpace pages for more info including upcoming Jeff Scott Soto and Alcatrazz performances.
